Nike twiddled her claws while she waited for Tane; he and the Arbok had gone in search of materials, or something. Tane had said that there was a way to warm the eggs that the Arbok had found, a method that a lot of reptiles used. He had also said that it was important for them to have a lot of sun, and that protection wouldn't really be needed, so the "nest," as he called it, would need to be a bit farther away from the Arbok's own nest. She let out a low purr, flipping through her newest paperback. It was titled See Jynx Run, and although it was a simplistic little story (originally intended for very young children, although Tane didn't tell her that) she enjoyed it immensely. There was something simply captivating about the poor Jynx's delicious woes. She glanced at Tane from over the cover of her book; he was reading his own, some sort of huge volume. She smirked.
